An Introduction to making tiaras and hair accessories

No experience necessary.

8 week course beginning 4th Sept 08.

Each week you will develop your skills and learn new techniques to make a variety of tiara styles and hair accessories.

Held at Shiney Company (Brand new premises in Bristol's Creative Quarter)
4.11- 4.12 Paintworks, A4 Bath Road, Arnos Vale Brislington, Bristol, BS4 3EH

The workshop begins at 7.00 p.m. and finishes at 9.00 p.m. for 8 consecutive Thursday evenings.

What will I learn?
1. What tools are required and how to use them safely.
2. Wire, beads and findings required to make these projects
3. Step-by-step techniques to make:

• Wire twisted tiara with Swarovski crystals
• Structured wire tiara with Swarovski crystals
  
• Branches tiara
  
• Decorated barette and hair pins
• Crown style tiara with arches
  
• Fascinator
• Flower comb
• Wire sculpture tiara

How much will it cost?
The Introduction to making tiaras and hair accessories are just £20 per session and include bands, combs, pins, barettes, wire and use of tools. Swarovski crystals and beads are extra, however, the additional value each week should not exceed £13.00. Most weeks the value is considerably less, however, if you have any queries about this and would like to discuss so that you can budget each week, please do not hesitate to give us a call.

You can pay the full amount or pay a deposit by selecting the tick box above. Alternatively, you can call us to pay a £40 deposit and pay the remainder weekly, 1 week in advance.

Please note: Advance payment and deposits are neither refundable nor transferable if you are unable to attend the workshops. If you have paid deposit only, you are liable for full payment of the workshop if you are unable to attend. Cancellations received 14 days prior to workshop date and cancellations with extenuating circumstances can be transfered. This is at the discretion of the proprietors. If you have a holiday booked or know a specific date that you cannot attend during the 6 weeks, please notify us at the time of booking.
