Jewellery workshop skill level: No experience necessary

This workshop is perfect is you are just starting out making jewellery or if you want to know how to repair all those broken necklaces lying in your jewellery box at home!

Learn how to string a necklace and bracelet, then make a pair of matching earrings. No previous experience required. You will create and keep a 3 pieces of jewellery made in the colours of your choice. Discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery professionally. Come along and make your own individual design to take away with you.

Held at Shiney Company's bead shop in Stroud, 27 High Street, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL5 1AJ

The jewellery workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 1.30 p.m

What will I learn?
1. What tools are required and how to use them safely
2. Wire, beads and findings required to make these items of jewellery
3. Step-by-step techniques make loops on head-pins and to turn beads into earring drops, then attach to ear wires
4. Step-by-step techniques to design and string a necklace
5. How to attach finish the ends of the necklace securely and add fastenings in a professional manner
6. Learn how to create a bracelet and finish with secure fastenings
7. Discover how to professionally finish off all of your jewellery using tried and tested techniques

How much will it cost?
This jewellery making workshop is just £35 and includes all jewellery making supplies. Use of tools and light refreshments are also included.

Lunch
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, however, there are many local Cafe's near to the shop.
