Learn how to create beautiful jewellery with little or no previous experience. You will create and keep a pair of earrings, a bracelet and necklace using various techniques. Learn step-by-step how to design a necklace, bracelet and earrings in different techniques using wire, pins and thread. Discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery. We provide a wide selection of quality gemstones, wood beads and glass beads. Come along and make your own individual jewellery designs to take away with you.

The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 4.30 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break.
What will I learn?
1. What tools are required and how to use them safely.
2. Wire, beads and findings required to make these items of jewellery
3. Step-by-step techniques to make jump ring earrings (basic chainmaille style)
4. Step-by-step techniques to make a jump ring bracelet (basic chainmaille style)
5. Step-by-step techniques to make a 'y' shaped pin work necklace
6. How to professionally finish off your jewellery
How much will it cost?
The one day Introduction to jewellery making workshop is just £45 and includes materials such as glass beads, semi-precious gemstones, shells, wooden beads and much much more. Use of tools and light refreshments are also included.
Lunch
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, however, there is a Cafe and Bar on site called Boca Bar offering tapas, salads, soup, coffees and a deli counter or there is a supermarket and fast food establishment only 5 minutes away in the car.

Shiney Company is wheelchair friendly. If you have any special requirements or use a wheelchair, we would be grateful if you would let us know so that we can ensure their is adequate space for you and other students.
