Every wednesday evening - Booked in a block of 6 weeks, unless you have already completed 6 and wish to book individual classes.

Taking place at Shiney's bead shop and jewellery workshop located at 27 High Street, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL5 1AJ. 

No experience necessary.

Learn how to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces using wire and stringing techniques. We teach you the techniques to make your own individual jewellery designs to take away with you.

Learn how to make pretty crystal flowers with wire and attach to chain. Decorate the chain with delicate bead charms by turning loops on headpins and connecting to chain. Great wirework and linking class

Cord, Chain and Charm Necklace Jewellery Making Class - Evening Jewellery Course held in Stroud
Work with cord, chain, beads and charms to make this summery necklace in the colours of your choice. You learn how to make coiled loops to turn beads into charms, knot cord, work with chain and put it all together to make this stunning piece.

Wednesday 6th June
Beadwork Bracelet, Ladder and Brick Stitch Jewellery Making Class - Evening Jewellery Course held in Stroud
Work with needle, thread and seed beads to create this fabulous woven bracelet. You will learn beadwork basics such which thread and needles to use, along with conditioning the thread and how to secure the ends and attach a clasp. You will create a base then embellish the edge.

Macrame & Bead Bracelet Jewellery Making Class - Evening Jewellery Course held in Stroud
Work cord and beads to create this friendship bracelet. You will learn the art of Macrame and how to incorporate beads as you work. Learn how to add an adjustable fastening too.


Wednesday 20th June
Macrame & Bead Bracelet Jewellery Making Class - Evening Jewellery Course held in Stroud
Freeform wire-work bangle. You will discover how to shape, bend and link together freeform wire shapes to create this stunning bangle. We will show you how to manipulate the wire to create you base, then incorporate the hook clasp and loop before decorating beads to finish.

Wire, bead and chain multi-strand bracelet jewellery making class - Evening jewellery making course held in Stroud
Work with wire, chain and beads to create this stylish bracelet. Learn how to make loops on wire and incorporate beads and chain before attaching a multi-strand bar clasp to complete the design. Make in the colours of your choice.


Wednesday 4th July
Wired, crystal and pearl pendant jewellery making class - Evening jewellery making course held in Stroud
Work with a sieve pendant, fine wire, crystals and pearls to create this pretty design. This project can be adapted into a pair of fabulous large stud earrings and a ring too. Learn how to manipulate the wire and how work with sieve part findings

Wirework ring. Bird's nest pearl ring jewellery making class - Evening jewellery making course held in Stroud
Work with wire, a ring mandrel and pearls to create this unique ring. You will learn how to size and shape the ring base, then attach the pearl before adding wire embellishment to complete the design.

Wednesday 18th July
Textured Necklace jwellery making class - Evening jewellery making course held in Stroud
Work with wire, beads, buttons and ribbon to create this contemporary design. You will attach beads and buttons to wire and incorporate ribbons, before finishing with folding cord ends and attaching the clasp.

Wednesday 25th July
Wire and bead  charm ring jewellery making class - Evening jewellery making course held in Stroud
Work with wire and a ring mandrel to create a ring base with loops to attach bead charms. Learn the art of wrap loops, so that you beads charms stay securely attached to the ring. You will also learn how to correctly size the ring. Great wirework class. Make this lovely design in the colours of your choice.

Wednesday 1st August
Charm and bead friendship bracelet macrame jewellery making class - Evening jewellery making course held in Stroud
Turn beads into charms by making coiled loops on headpins and incorporate other beads and tubes to create this pretty summer design. You will learn how to make an adjustable knot using macramé techniques.

Please note that images are for illustrative purposes only. These are a representation of the style you will be making. Beads will be provided including SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS where stated. We provide enough beads for your to successfully complete the project, however, you may wish to bring beads of your own, or work with extras purchased in the shop on the day.

How much will it cost?
The Introduction to jewellery making sessions are just £20 per class and include materials such as glass beads, semi-precious gemstones, shells, wooden beads and much much more. Use of tools and light refreshments are also included. Enrol online or call 01453 753 609 to book your place.

Please note: Advance payment and deposits are neither refundable nor transferable if you are unable to attend the workshops. If you have paid deposit only, you are liable for full payment of the workshop if you are unable to attend. Cancellations received 14 days prior to workshop date and cancellations with extenuating circumstances can be transfered. This is at the discretion of the proprietors. If you have a holiday booked or know a specific date that you cannot attend during the 6 weeks, please notify us at the time of booking.
