Techniques workshop - Bead Making
This is an advanced course and is recommended for students who have attended the Introductory PMC course. During the day we will be exploring different ways of producing beads from PMC using a hollow form techniques. Students will have an opportunity of using the syringe and PMC sheet with metal clay to create their beads which can be worn alone or combined with other beads to produce a stunning necklace.
Held at Shiney Company 4.11 - 4.12 Paintworks, Bath Road, Arnos Vale, Bristol BS4 3EH.
The workshop begins at and finishes at 4 p.m.
How much will it cost?
The full day precious metal clay advanced workshops is £85 and includes 9grams of PMC3, sheet, syringe and use of basic tools and light refreshments. Any other findings or materials are extra and can be purchased on the day or you can bring your own. Additional PMC used will be charged at the usual retail price. Specialist tools will be loaned by the tutor on the day, however, a £5 refundable deposit will be requested to ensure safe return.
Lunch
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, however, there is a cafe bar within walking distance serving sandwiches, tapas and snacks along with a number of fast food establishment and a super market only a 5 minute drive by car.

Shiney Company is wheelchair friendly. If you have any special requirements or use a wheelchair, we would be grateful if you would let us know so that we can ensure their is adequate space for you and other students.
