Freeform wirework Jewellery Making Workshop held in our Bath Bead Shop

This Jewellery Making Class is suitable for all skill levels.

Includes jewellery supplies and all materials and beads!

Jewellery Workshop Skill Level: Beginners Welcome

Learn how to create contempory wirework pendants and embellish with beads. Learn how to shape, weave and sculpt the wire to create unique designs. You will create and keep approx. 2/3 pendants and string your favourite onto a cord, learning how to fasten the ends. Discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery professionally. We provide all beads and materials. Come along and make your own individual jewellery designs to take away with you.

Held at Shiney Company's Bead Shop in Bath, Somerset 5 Saville Row, Bath BA1 2QP (adjacent to the Historic Assembly Rooms)

The jewellery workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 12.30 p.m.

Skills and information acquired:

1. What tools are required and how to use them safely
2. Cord, beads, wire and findings required to make these items of jewellery
3. Selecting the beads/wire and planning your designs
4. How to sculpt the wire to achieve your design
5. Securing the ends of the wire and making an integral bail
6. Embellishing the pendants
7. Adding a cord and learning how to add the fastenings
8. Professionally finishing off your jewellery using tried and tested techniques

How much will it cost?
This jewellery making workshop is just £25 and don't forget that includes all materials too along with use of tools and light refreshments!

Lunch
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, however, there are many local cafes and shops nearby for lunch.

Facilities
If you have any special requirements or use a wheelchair, we would be grateful if you would let us know so that we can ensure their is adequate space for you and other students.
