Includes jewellery supplies, beads, wire and all other materials!

Learn how to coil and wrap wire to make a unique pendant. This is an intermediate + level wire-wire class.  You will learn skills required to make your pendant including techniques such as wrapped loops and coiling wire. You will work with Liver of Sulphure to create wonderful antique colours in the copper wire for a vintage look metal and learn how to preserve the colour. If you haven't worked with copper before then come and see how versatile this lovely metal is, as well as being very affordable. A great alternative to silver for metal workers! Discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery professionally.

The jewellery workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 3.30 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break.

What will I learn?
1. What tools are required and how to use them safely
2. Wire, beads and findings required to make these items of jewellery
3. Step-by-step techniques to coil wire, wrap loops and design your pendant
4. How to turn bare copper wire into antique copper using Liver of Sulphur
5. Learn how to work with the antiqued metal to preserve its colour
6. Finish off your jewellery using tried and tested techniques  
 

Please note: The Liver of Sulphur will be used in a well ventilated area, however, asthma sufferers are advised to carry an inhailer as a precaution.

How much will it cost?
This jewellery making workshop is just £40 and includes all materials. Use of tools and light refreshments are also included.

Lunch
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, however, there is a Cafe and Bar on site called Boca Bar offering tapas, salads, soup, coffees and a deli counter or there is a supermarket and fast food establishment only 5 minutes away in the car.
