An introduction to jewellery making - Textured style - no experience necessary.

Also, suitable for experienced jewellery makers looking for a new technique or style.

Learn how to create beautiful jewellery with little or no previous experience. You will create and keep a pair of earrings, a bracelet and a necklace using wire, ribbon, organza and beads. Learn step-by-step how to design your matching jewellery set, discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery. We provide a wide selection of quality gemstones, wooden beads and glass beads. Come along and make your own individual jewellery designs to take away with you.

Held at Shiney Company 4.11- 4.12 Paintworks, A4 Bath Road, Arnos Vale Brislington, Bristol, BS4 3EH

The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 3.00 p.m. with a 40mins lunch break.

What will I learn?
1. What tools are required and how to use them safely.
2. Wire, beads and findings required to make these items of jewellery
3. Step-by-step techniques to make textured earrings.
4. Step-by-step techniques to make a textured bracelet.
5. Step-by-step techniques to make a textured necklace.

How much will it cost?
The one day introduction to jewellery making workshop is just £45 and includes materials such as glass beads, semi-precious gemstones, shells, wooden beads and much much more. Use of tools and light refreshments are also included.

Lunch
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, however, there is a Cafe and Bar on site called Boca Bar offering tapas, salads, soup, coffees and a deli counter or there is a supermarket and fast food establishment only 5 minutes away in the car.

Shiney Company is wheelchair friendly. If you have any special requirements or use a wheelchair, we would be grateful if you would let us know so that we can ensure their is adequate space for you and other students.
